Steffi’s Cottage’s instructions for creating and sharing a referral coupon

We appreciate your interest in recommending Steffi’s Cottage!

As a registered user of the MinPiiri service (“you”), you can create and register image-based referral coupons for Steffi’s Cottage (“we”) using the MinPiiri application, which you can then share within your own networks. The referral coupons also come with an additional benefit for the recipient.

Referrals made through the MinPiiri application must be made in accordance with these instructions and the terms of use of the MinPiiri service. 

1. Benefit to the recipient of the referral coupon

You can choose the benefit to be attached to the referral coupon from the options provided to the recipient in the MinPiiri application. You can only register one referral coupon for one benefit option.

2. Visual appearance of the referral coupon

The purpose of the recommendation and referral coupons is to share your genuine opinions and/or experiences regarding Steffi’s Cottage’s products and services. We want you to be able to recommend us genuinely and in a way that reflects you. In the MinPiiri service, you can edit the visual appearance of the referral coupon and, if you wish, change its background image to your own photo. You can also edit the visual appearance of the referral coupon using the image editing tools in the MunPiiri application. However, please note the following instructions.

Let’s be respectful

• Only use images that are appropriate for the purpose. The design and content of the referral coupon, even after your edits, should be related to the product/service you are recommending or your experience with it.
• Do not use images or other elements that are against good practice, misleading, discriminatory, offensive, or intentionally otherwise harmful or damaging.

Let’s be honest and fair

• Only use images that you have permission to use.
• Do not include anyone else’s private or confidential information in your referral coupons, and do not use images of anyone other than yourself without their permission.

Let’s be real

• We hope you don’t use images created with artificial intelligence.

3. Referral coupon registration

Register the referral coupon after any visual edits you make in the MinPiiri service. After registration, you can no longer edit the visual appearance of the referral coupon, change the benefit attached to it, or cancel the registration. The benefit attached to the referral coupon takes effect when the referral coupon is registered.

4. Sharing of the referral coupon

Only send your registered referral coupon to people you believe will be genuinely interested in its content. Do not distribute referral coupons in bulk or as spam. Also inform referral coupon recipients of the terms and conditions of the benefit contained in the coupon.

If you share a referral coupon on social media channels, please indicate any commercial collaboration with us, if applicable. You do this

1) by adding one of the following markings to your publication: “Advertisement with Steffi’s Cottage” / “Contains an advertisement from Steffi’s Cottage” / “Commercial cooperation with Steffi’s Cottage”, and in addition

2) using the social media platform service’s own advertising-related tagging tool.

Follow the guidelines and instructions of the consumer ombudsman or other local authority regarding labeling.

When distributing a referral coupon, do not cover the QR code or content related to the benefit and its terms. Do not reduce the readability of the coupon, for example, using image editing tools or otherwise modify it in a misleading way. If you distribute a printed referral coupon, make sure that the print quality is good enough for the content to be readable and the QR code to be recognizable.

You must distribute the referral coupon in your own name. You may not distribute the referral coupon on our premises or outside our premises in their immediate vicinity. If you wish, you can also use the referral coupon you registered and the associated benefit yourself. 

5. Your benefit from the referrals

We also want to remember you with Steffi’s Cottage discount coupons. The amount of the benefit you receive depends on how many of your registered referral coupons are redeemed. More detailed terms are announced in the MinPiiri application in connection with the referral campaign. The benefit granted is personal and may not be shared with other people.
